Summary

This project brought together a range of services to improve the yard and curb appeal for a home in Elk River. The homeowner wanted a sturdy boulder wall behind the garage and an overall landscape refresh to make the outdoor space more usable and attractive.

The Work

Installed an 18"-24" field stone boulder wall over 50 feet long and 3.5 feet high behind the garage
Added river rock and edging to define planting beds and walkways
Planted 6-10 new trees and shrubs in key spots around the home
Graded the yard, improved drainage, and brought in fill where needed
Used a sunny-shady grass seed blend to establish new lawn areas

The Outcome

The finished yard feels more organized and welcoming. The boulder wall adds structure while the fresh plantings and rock beds bring color and texture. Grading work also improved drainage, helping protect the property long-term.
